Happy New Year! 2026 marks a very special milestone for us as Urespa+Furano celebrates its 10th anniversary.
We are entering this significant year with hearts full of gratitude for everyone who reached out and supported us from the very beginning when we had nothing. Thank you so much for everything!In this landmark year, we are thrilled to announce a major new challenge!
We will be taking over the management of the café at Domaine Raisone, a winery in Nakafurano, where our representative, Go-san, has often helped with goat and vineyard care.
Imagine a dining table filled with the bounty of Furano: melons, potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, pumpkin, corn, asparagus, and honey—all produced by Urespa Furano's host farmers. Our next mission is to make you "Fall in love with Furano even more!" by satisfying the appetites of travelers from all over the world.How can we make this happen?
We certainly can't do it alone! We've brought in advisors from Kobe and teamed up with the owner of Tokotoko Cycling, who also helps with our activities. 2026 is shaping up to be a whirlwind of excitement!
Of course, we will continue our Urespa+Furano activity tours as well.
With so much happening, I've had no time for New Year's relaxation and have been glued to my computer! They say the first three months of the year fly by, but we are racing against time to hit our grand opening goal at the end of April.And so... it's a bit early, but we are excited to announce the name of our new shop:
"Food & Drink TABERASARU"
"Taberasaru" is a unique Hokkaido dialect expression.
It's used when you find yourself unable to stop eating because something is so delicious—like saying, "I just can't help but keep eating this!"
Since we are still on a journey of learning, we won't be serving overly complex cuisine. Instead, we want to create a space that says, "You've got to try this—it's so good!"
Our primary mission is to provide a place and an atmosphere that showcases the incredible ingredients of Furano.
Our team is working hard so that you'll find yourselves saying, "Taberasaru-wa!" (I can't stop eating!).
