Snow Lantern Oden Night Monitor Tour Report

On December 14, a trial night tour, “Snow Lantern Oden Night,” was held for the first time.
With the participation of familiar monitor guests, it was possible to confirm each step of the schedule and arrangements in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
By actually running through the tour, many insights were gained that could not be seen just on paper, including various small but important points, making it a major achievement in preparation for the official tours to come.
Sincere thanks go to all the monitor participants for their cooperation.
The authentic oden prepared with great skill by owner-chef Mr. Muraoka of Pension & Restaurant “La Collina” became an extremely popular menu item, with participants constantly exclaiming how delicious it was.
The standout favorite was the cabbage roll made by wrapping Kamifurano pork in snow-stored cabbage from Endo Farm. The combination of sweetened winter vegetables and richly flavorful meat was outstanding, and the potatoes and daikon radish also offered a taste that truly embodied the essence of winter.
Local wine and sake were also served, allowing guests to enjoy pairing them with the oden. Many were pleasantly surprised by how well white wine matched with oden.
To conclude the evening, melon ice cream generously filled with melon pulp from Endo Farm was served. This rich yet refreshingly light dessert created a moment that naturally brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
The Snow Lantern Oden Night, held for the first time, was a great success that left the entire staff thoroughly satisfied. It will continue to be refined and developed into a tour that can be enjoyed by even more people.
